By Kennedy LeFave on December 12th, 2011

Well, after months and months of work, The LIBRE Initiative is Finally ready to launch their efforts! Starting with their fully-functioning website I had a large part in, The LIBRE team will begin their journey to re-educate Hispanics on the principles of economics.
Not only did I get to help make the website, but I also created this animation to help them spread the word -- in such a unique way!

One Genkai & I'M A NINJA - Help Heal

By Kennedy LeFave on December 9th, 2011

-The Wounded Warriors-
In honor of those who have fought for the United States of America, One Genkai created a memorable 'Ninja.' This Ninja is a promise to give back to those who have fought so bravely. 100% of profit earned from, tee-shirt sales of that design, will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Project. This project supplies funding for those Soldiers ('Ninjas') who were injured defending their great land. It is great to know they survived, but heartbreaking knowing how hard it is for them to provide - for their families. This 100% American made shirt will hopefully raise enough funding to make life easier for those who made our lives freer!

-Those in need-
To help those affected by the recent tsunami and earthquake disaster in Japan, One Genkai created a memorable 'Ninja.' 100% of the profit earned from that tee-shirt will be donated to help the Japanese people in need. Our goal is to supply funding to those set out to repair the homes and hearts of the Japanese people.

One Genkai Offically Launched!

By Kennedy LeFave on December 5th, 2011

Well. Today is the day! The day I have been anxiously waiting for for quite sometime. There are quite a few reasons why this day was significantly important; but I'd like to start off by saying thank you to those who took the time to pray for me. And another thank you for those who commented, inbox'd, and texted words of encouragement.

I have been counting down to December 5th for what's seems to be quite some time! This day was a day that was to bring about, if all things went as planned, two unrelated opportunities that could change my life completely. By God's grace. One of these opportunities has kept its' door closed while the other swung wide open!!

Now, it may seem like today is nothing more than another Monday, but I really want to thank God for granting me His favor with a completely different opportunity!!

December 5th, today, I officially launch a new company! It's an idea that has been in the works for nearly two years now. Finally, we are ready to launch it! The idea has a LONG way to go to be completed, but I feel it is one that we've spent plenty of time developing. One that will, in time, and with my friends help, can become a household name.

For the most basic description, the company will be one that is lock-step with Sanrio. Only differing in our target audience. But when you get down to the root of it, we will lead with a larger goal in the fore-front of our mind. A goal to further His Kingdom. I hope to make a company that offers fun, unique products while raising funds for a charity I would like to start in the same name.

The name of the new company is "One Genkai". Essentially, One Genkai means one limitation. Meaning, within each of us, there is One Limit we must overcome to reach our fullest potential. One thing stopping us from achieving success in chosen field. And that limit, "is you". It is you and your resolve. To become a better athlete, YOU must resolve to train harder. To receive a higher position at work, you must resolve to work harder and educate yourself. Nothing else is really standing in your way to success - simply you and your desire to accomplish the things you must. One Genkai.

Just like Sanrio, who has multiple characters in their product line, One Genkai strives to offer the same thing. Sanrio's first was "Hello Kitty" and Our first product line will be "I'm A Ninja"!

We will start off with tee shirts, progressively adding new designs and toys. Just so you know, I have already been invited to sell these shirts at a State Martial Arts tournament! If sales go well, I have been invited to continue selling my products at the National martial arts tournament that will be a pre-qualifier to the Olympics!

Also, our little character has attracted the curiosity of TWO NYTimes Best Selling Authors. Soon, we will release our fully-illustrated children's novel! It's Very Well written!

Please continue praying! Although one of my dreams didn't come into full-view today, another dream is beginning to take form.

Please like the FB pages, and invite everyone in your friends list to do the same! I would GREATLY appreciate it!

Also, check out the website and the #HelpHeal project. I want to begin this business with giving as our very first priority. 100% of profits received from two of the designs will go to those in need. I couldn't have made it this far in life if we're not for friends like you guys, and this business can go nowhere without friends like you. Thank you for your prayers, thank you for your patience, and thank you for the help of spreading the word!

Please send me a direct message if you have any questions :)

The Libre Initiative Webpage

By Kennedy LeFave on October 24, 2011

Currently, I am working tirelessly to provide The Libre Initiative with a new website. Things are progressing quite well, but until the FULL website is unveiled, I decided to put together a new temporary page for them. The current web-page featured a single video while this new page can feature multiple video's as well as a full "fact-sheet" loaded with...facts! about them and their cause.

Check out the full working page at thelibreinitiative.com -- more to come!

The Libre Initiative

By Kennedy LeFave on August 22, 2011

Recently I have had a chance to work with a gentleman who is starting up a wonderful organization. This organization is determined to re-educate Hispanics on the priniciples of economics.
As it stands, the area I currently reside in is predominantly Hispanic. It is an area where the elected officials have claimed nearly 75% of her residents are on some form of government program.
The Libre Initiative has come at no better time to help return the hard working American Hispanics of this area to a full sense of personal responsibility.

Since last month, I have been able to successfully deliver, to The Libre Initiative, a logo as well as a temporary web-page.
Soon, I will present to them a fully-functioning web-site which will assist her leaders as they prepare for National Speaking events.

"Sanctuary RE-Mix"

By Kennedy LeFave on August 22, 2011

So my friend Kuresa sends me this track he did back in college, mentioning that it needed some work as everyone was peaking and it sounded like they were singing into a can..lol. I played with it for a bit, and came up with this. I enjoyed listening to the song so much, I thought it was worth sharing with all of you :)

I hope it blesses you as it did me.

New Church Website?

By Kennedy LeFave on August 08, 2011

For quite some time, the church I attend has had a website I felt was...not from a higher calling, lol. So I took it upon myself to begin creating a new website for them. Here is what I have so far. We shall see if the elders even like the idea. If so, I would be deeply honored to give them the files and see my talents used for a greater purpose.

What's a good blog post without an advertisement?? Click here to visit the current site and enjoy some powerful sermons!

Cutting up the Federal Credit Cards

By Kennedy LeFave on July 11, 2011

Does the government work for us, or do we work for the government?

If republicans were elected to get the federal government out of debt, how can they do so by letting it borrow more money?

If your business had known, for months, about a large bill it had due in a few short weeks, what would you do as the owner of that business?
Most likely, you would have begun (a long time ago) putting away money for that bill. You would have cut back on your expenses so as to accumulate more cash. You might have even closed down parts of your business that are less profitable. If need be, you'd sell an asset(s) or lay off employees not key to productivity.

Also, if interest payments on that debt were destroying your business, by consuming your profits, the one thing you'd never do is borrow more money at a higher interest rate in order to pay the bill. And, you'd never ever borrow more money from the same people you owed that bill to in the first place.

Unless your business was...the federal government.

Too much debt can kill a business; business folks know that. If you're paying too much in interest, you won't have that money to innovate, to attract new customers, to pay salaries of talented employees, and most importantly, to produce a better product at a lower cost than your competitors.

But, what if you had NO competitors -- what if people bought your product no matter how expensive or shoddy...if you got paid because you were the only producer of this product; then would you care the same about accumulating debt?

The Obama administration refuses to run the government like a business. It wants the government to have more debt. It has declared that in 4 weeks, our Nation will experience her "doomsday" -- that is when the government claims it will be unable to pay its' bills. August 4th, the feds will owe $30 Billion to various entities. They claim, they don't have the cash!

Let's look at it this way. Knowing that the government has known about this debt for many years;

  • Did they set any money aside?
  • Did they tighten their belts?
  • Did they lay-off anyone?
  • Did they stop wasting money?
  • Do they still collect $220 Billion a month in revenue?
  • Are they still wasting $100 Million on a useless war in Libya?
  • Do they borrow and spend as usual -- assuming that the Congress will permit them to continue doing so?

None of this is new.

The federal government has no competition, so they have no incentive to produce a better product, at a cheaper cost.

And it doesn't seem to matter which party is in power.
Every President, since Woodrow Wilson, borrowed money and increased the amount of the federal government's debt.
It is for reasons like this that many argue that we as a Nation do not really have two political parties in this country. We have just one: The Big Government Party.
Included is the Republican Wing, which likes: war, deficits, and corporate welfare and assaults on civil liberties.
As well as the Democratic wing, which likes: war, taxes, individual welfare, and assaults on commercial liberties.

But when it comes to borrowing, Big Government loves debt. It has always prevailed when it wants to borrow more...until now. Now there are many TEA Party Republicans in the House who were elected to get rid of the government's debt. Now there are enough Republicans in the Senate to block the wishes of the President (borrowing more money).

But of course, we have a Democratic President who wants to raise taxes in the midst of the worst economic crisis in 75 years.
Here is the mystifying part of all of this. Some Republicans have expressed a willingness to cut a deal with President Obama, in which he promised to spend less...in the future! As long as they agree to let him borrow more money today.

Such a deal is ridiculous! It should be rejected! Because it is a promise that cannot be kept.

When you use up the limit on your credit card, you don't go out and get more credit cards. Unless, of course, you are a crook who never intends to pay his bills. And if your credit cards have someone else's' credit on them; you simply cannot morally borrow from "Peter" to pay "Paul."

America, this is not the Governments' money. It is your money! Why do we permit the feds to do with our money what we would never do with it?

Why send to Washington people who will make the debt worse? Why let debt destroy us?

The answers to these questions are obvious.

TaeKwonDo Brochure

By Kennedy LeFave on Aprile 26, 2011

While at TaeKwonDo class the other day, my Master mentioned he was in need of a brochure for the school (prior National competitions). Well, instead of offering my advice on the matter, I decided to sit down, over the weekend, and whip something out!

The Hangul in the back says 'Tae Kwon Do' and there are a few martial arts belts are wrapped around entire brochure. All in all, I took much longer than my designer friends would have taken, BUT, I'm the one who needed the points with the Master ;)

Extremists in the US

By Kennedy LeFave on January 11, 2011

I'm kind of at a loss for words as I sit here reading stories on the tragic event this past weekend. A Congresswoman was shot down by a very disturbed individual who I think is deserving of capitol punishment.
I am not at a loss for words on the shooter (because I know what I think about him - he is wrong and deserves capitol punishment for his crimes), I am at a loss for words on the media coverage -- and about 1/2 of the US citizens in step with that thinking!

I, and I alone, am morally responsible for everything I do.

What thinking? What coverage? The thinking and coverage that blames OTHERS for ones' crime. While many are saying it was anothers' fault...the fact remains that this 'man' murdered.

Comparing Shooter to Islamic Terrorists

As Americans continued trying to grapple with Saturday’s horrific shooting in Tuscon, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton labeled the shooter who attacked Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords as an “extremist” Monday and compared his violent rampage to the Islamic terrorists who attacked the United States on Sept. 11, 2001.

The Secretary of State fielded a question from an audience member who asked why the U.S. appears to blame the entire Arab world for the 2001 terrorist attacks. Clinton answered that it was due to misperceptions and the media impact of political violence, Reuters reports.
“We have extremists in my country. A wonderful, incredibly brave young woman Congress member, Congresswoman Giffords, was just shot by an extremist in our country,” she said. “We have the same kinds of problems. So rather than standing off from each other, we should work to try to prevent the extremists anywhere from being able to commit violence,” she added.

Republican Sen. Fred Thompson criticized her for not being able to differentiate between “religious fanatics and just plain nuts.” “It is absolutely breathtaking, the extent to which some of these folks on the left will go to mitigate what’s going on in our country and the rest of the world in terms of radical Islam, and drawing a comparison with this crazy person,”

Sal Russo, chief strategist for the Tea Party Express, said, "I think it’s a sad commentary when you try to use an isolated, criminal element of somebody who was obviously mentally disturbed and suggest there’s some society problem of extremism,”

It could even be Palins' fault! *eye roll* really?..

The Gross Exploitation of the Shooting in Arizona

AZ Sheriff on Irresponsible Rhetoric

The Arizona sheriff charged with investigating Saturday’s Tucson shooting that has left U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in critical condition continued his personal campaign against what he calls “vitriolic rhetoric”, despite there being no evidence that any television or radio commentators’ opinions had influenced the shooter, Jared Loughner, in any way.

On Monday, Sheriff Clarence Dupnik singled out one commentator in particular — conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh — and condemned him for spewing “irresponsible rhetoric.”

Dupnik‘s comments about Limbaugh come just hours after he told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that he has “no agenda.”

Conservatives ramping up the Rhetoric?

Obama's 'Christianity'

By Kennedy LeFave on January 04, 2011

“If any man ascribes anything of salvation, even the very least thing, to the free will of man, he knows nothing of grace, and he has not learned Jesus Christ rightly” -Martin Luther

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. -Martin Luther King, Jr.
I don't think Mr. King would agree that those enslaved should then enslave. If people remain suffering because they dwell on the past then we will never be able to look to a better future.
